ART is a puniton ".Sigmar Polke said.
That an idea, a situation, a fear or a pleasure is born in my head, that it is assembled there, then that I refuse myself has the realiser before it invaded completely my spirit, my life to has to affect the end of my fingers
That I fremisse of impatience, that my movements do not belong to me any more and that I unload finally this excess full of energy when nothing more can exist until the moment when I feel freeof this pressure. I can write the final word on this story, and I feel exhausted, but happy.
I know that the punishment is has the immoderation of an art in which I am profoundly unchained, but is it indeed a punishment?
I believe sincerely in the support and the matiere, in every hour of day, in every light. And nevertheless I am powerless to translate the songs of birds in the day which gets up, the noise of a leaves which dies in the autonme, the smell of the earth.
I know that the time will miss me, but it is nevertheless necessary me to try to seize the music and perfume of the colors. It is my condition to live. I pay very expensive this assertion to the existence of Art.

inventory of human being...." G. Ranunkel, Artfloor gallery

" Gentreau paint human in simplified and baroque forms. The
shape is given we re-know it a head, a body, a silhouette... Always an expression. The colour comes from the back and enter into the person, better crosses him,and while crossing him,is transformed, giving shadows, reflections, inquietudes.
In group or the only one, the human being is always solitary, surprised, lost in the middle of the colour.
It is the place of the transformation, the melting pot alchimique of the colour, there or the raw substance bursting with the form, becomes human in ......... A silent and subtle painter whom, with a chastity amazed says most of what we are. "
